Temple Used Cars – SHAH ALAM: It took 12 firefighters about an hour to put out the fire after several vehicles were burned during a fight between two groups at a Hindu temple at USJ 25 earlier today. Petaling Zone Asst operations officer Supt Muhammad Zaikunor Afendi Muhammad Nordin said 18 cars and two motorbikes were set on fire during the incident which occurred around 2am.
The 12 firefighters were deployed in two trucks from the Subang Jaya Fire and Rescue Service. They arrived at the location around the Sri Maha Mariamman temple at 4.53 in the morning. “The fire was doused at around 6 a.m. We were told by police that two people were injured in the incident, “he said when contacted by Bernama.

Muhammad Zaikunor Afendi said an investigation was underway on the damage caused during the incident.
At midday, he added, firefighters were still in the temple to assist police in their investigations.
Police reportedly detained two men in their 30s to facilitate an investigation into the riots that occurred at the temple.
They were picked up at Serdang Hospital when seeking treatment for injuries sustained during the incident.
The video clip fights, which caused a large traffic jam around it, went viral on social media earlier today.
The temple is scheduled to relocate on November 22 according to the approval decision on March 11, 2014, at the Supreme Court of Shah Alam.
