Used Car Dealerships In Corpus Christi – South Padre Island Drive offers a lot of car dealers on both sides, and the line continues to grow. CarMax, the leading used car dealer in the US, added the location of Corpus Christi on South Padre Island Drive between Ennis Joslin and Rodd Field road.
The company submitted a plan to the city earlier this month for the project. The estimated price tag is just under $ 5 million on request for permission submitted to the city, but the final investment by the company is likely to be much higher.

CarMax usually invests between $ 10 million and $ 25 million in a dealer when there is an opening, however, spokeswoman Jennifer Bartusiak told Caller-Times.
There is no time when the location of Corpus Christi will open, but the process is usually many years, Bartusiak explained. The company is looking to add “13-16” new locations every two years, he added.
On average, many CarMax offers between 200 and 400 vehicles for sale, and more than 50,000 can be sent to locations.
City Council member Greg Smith, who represented the area, said the proposed project was a sign of building economic momentum in Corpus Christi.
“This is a sign of growth in the area that companies like CarMax are interested in building locations here,” Smith said.
CarMax follows Autonation in its efforts to provide quality niche services used by vehicles. Autonation USA, the pre-ownership branch of a national dealer, held a big opening last month for a new location on 3115 South Padre Island Drive.
Automotive dealers have targeted Bend Coast in recent years. In 2015, the Hicks Family Nissan made a breakthrough at a Calallen area dealer, and last year Mike Shaw Automotive bought a dealer to expand the Robstown area.
