Used Car Lots In Fayetteville Nc – Authorities are investigating after a man allegedly shot a police officer Fayetteville and then tried to crash his car into a group that responded to law enforcement officials moments later. According to the Sampson County Sheriff’s Office, the incident began just before 9pm. on Monday, October 15.

Sheriff Jimmy Thornton said the suspect arrived at the off-duty officer’s house, both began to argue, and the suspect shot at the officer. “You know, someone in their own home – thinking about their own business – they don’t know that someone will appear on their front yard,” Thornton said.

The suspect, who has not been identified, left the house to Minnie Hall Road. That’s where the troops and deputies stop it.

They try to get a suspect to surrender. Thornton said troops and deputies used non-lethal weapons to try to force the suspect out of his car.

“Of course there are many less deadly methods in an attempt to get out of the vehicle, but he is a tough person,” Thornton said.

Finally, the suspect put his foot on the gas pedal and tried to hit his pickup with the driver into the army and deputies.

Law enforcement officers at the scene shot the suspect when he tried to hit them. He was taken to hospital, but researchers said he would be prosecuted when he was released.

As for officer Fayetteville who was injured, he was taken to the Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. His injuries were taken seriously, but there were no other specifics about his condition being released.

The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation helped with the investigation.
