Used Cars Peoria Il, Peoria car dealer Jeff Green killed in auto-racing accident in Canada – PEORIA – Peoria carmakers died on Saturday in a car accident during the Canadian race, the authorities said.

Jeff Green, 61, died in the morning of 3.30. CDT at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park in Bowmanville, Ontario on Sunday announced.

He was the head of Green Chevrolet, 8017 N. Knoxville Ave and Green Ford, 2211 W. Pioneer Parkway, both Peoria.

In 1972, Green rode the Lola T300 race when he lost control of the trajectory, left the runway and hit the wall according to the Durham Regional Police Department statement.

The line’s security personnel brought the green out of the car. He was transferred to Lakeridge Health Bowmanville, where he was declared dead.

Green participated in the event under the auspices of the Canadian Vintage Automobile Racing Association. He drove the Formula 5000 reincarnation.

Green’s car came through a security review before the flight, the police said. Other rounds scheduled for the weekend have been canceled.

“We are deeply sad about the death of Jeffrey Greene,” said Park’s CEO, Myles Brandt. “We express our deepest condolences and sympathy for your family, friends, and other colleagues.”

The event is being investigated. It is not clear whether there is a mechanical problem with the car or whether it is caused by Green medical problems.

The GreenDrive car was popular in the 1970’s, and Mario Andretti introduced the legendary drivers of Toronto Star.

Bowmanville is located in Lake Ontario, about 80 miles east of Toronto.

Green started working in the automotive industry at the age of 13 on the Green Chevrolet site in Monmouth. His father Ray founded a trader in Warren County in the 1950s.

Young Green bought his Peoria Chevrolet reseller in 1997 when he was working on Danville for 18 years.

His brother, Todd Green, also serves as an automotive distributor in Jacksonville and Springfield.

Sister, Jill Green, owns a Chevrolet merchant in the Metamorus area in the 1980’s and now has merchants from East Moline and Davenport, Iowa.
